6. AL TWISTED & ROB DA RHYTHM TRACK PLAYED ON RADIO 1



When tuned into Kutski's show on radio 1 at the weekend we were delighted to here Al Twisted & Rob Da Rhythm - "The Darkness" (Forth coming on Recycled Records) make the playlist. 7. TWISTED & BRAINFIRE BUS TO HARDCORE WEEKENDER 2010

Book your seats now on the Twisted & Brainfire party bus to this years Hardcore Weekender. Our bus will leave from Outside the City Chambers on George Square, Glasgow @ 12 noon on Friday 14th May and will return from Southport @ 12 noon on Monday 17th of may. This will allow everyone on the bus maximum party time, as you can request to keep your room open untill 12 on the Monday for an extra £15. just make sure when you make your booking to tick the box on the website, or tell slammin over the phone. Bus tickets from us will be priced at £35 return. Seats are on a first come first served basis.

8. NEW LABELS - DARKSIDE UNLEASHED + DARKSIDE UNDERGROUND

"Darkside Unleashed" and "Darkside Underground" are two new labels from Scottish Hardcore organization Twisted & Brainfire. Release schedules are being worked out at the moment with regular releases starting in around one months time on limited Vinyl and Digital.

Expect some well respected big name artists on the label alongside and some fresh previously undiscovered talent releasing a variety of Darkside styles such as Mainstream Gabber and Darkcore (Darkside Unleashed) as well as Terror, Speedcore and Hardcore Techno (Darkside Underground).

To wet your taste buds we give you with a totally free track from Darkside Underground by Al Twisted & Strontium called "Power 2 Distort" which originally featured on the Dutch CD compilation "Temple of Terror " and clocks in at 224bpm.

11. HOW SMART ARE YOU???

Here is a quick brainteaser for you.

A completely black dog was strolling down Main Street during a total blackout affecting the entire town. Not a single streetlight had been on for hours. Just as the dog was crossing the middle line a Buick Skylark with 2 broken headlights speedily approaches his position, but manages to swerve out of the way just in time. How could the driver have possibly seen the dog to swerve in time?

Last weeks Question -
Why is it very common to have a 9 minute snooze interval on alarm clocks, why not 10 instead?
Last weeks Answer -
By setting the snooze time to 9 minutes, the alarm clock only needs to watch the last digit of the time. So, if you hit snooze at 6.45, the alarm goes off again when the last digit equals 4. They couldn't make it 10 minutes, otherwise the alarm would go off right away, or it would take more circuitry.
